Detailed Instructions:

This is your board. The size and shape of the board changes with each level.

On top of the board are decorative tiles.

Their job is to look pretty and to hide coins.
In the early levels, you will only deal with the coin.

Your job is to figure out which tiles have coins underneath them!

When you have used logic to deduce where a coin is, you reveal the coin by peeking under the tile.
If you are right, the coin is revealed and placed on top of the tile. You win, and can move on to the next level. There are 100 levels!

If you are wrong, you lose, and must try the level over again.

So how do you win?

There is always at least one empty space on the board, sometimes there are more than one. These empty spaces show a number that is the sum of all coins around them, including diagonals.

You can move the tiles around on the board by clicking on them with the shift tool. When you click on a tile, it slides into the emtpy space.

Cursor over middle right tile + click =

In the first level, there are six coins we have to find. We see them below the board like this:.
These coins are hidden under the eight tiles surrounding the center square, which is why it shows the number 6.

When we slide a tile over, the new space that is empty only has four of the six coins nearby. Now let's see what happens when we slide the lower right tile up.

We see that the corner space has three coins around it, and is surrounded by three tiles, so be amazing analytical skills, we deduce that each tile has one coin underneath it. (Which is true, each tile only hides one coin.) So now that we know where some coins are hiding, we want to reveal them. We have a couple ways to do this.

We can use the eye tool, or we can use the right mouse button. Click on the eye tool to select it, your cursor will change into an eye while it's in the game area.
We used the eye tool and clicked on all three tiles surrounding our number 3. Here is the result.

As we reveal the coins, they disappear from below the board.

We can now see that we only have three more coins to locate.

As we move these tiles around, the coins will shift with them, staying visible on top. We've shifted the tiles around a bit, and have come up with a new situation, as seen below.

Here we see that there are two coins around our empty space, and both of them are accounted for. This means that middle right tile must not have a coin underneath it. We would like to make a note of this. To do this, we select the "no" tool. We then click on the offending tool, and place the "no coin" brand on top of it for all to see.

Now let's shift the tile with the up.

Our quick intuitive laser sharp deductive reasoning allows us to see that the green tile in the lower left must have a coin underneath.

Coins are placed randomly, so the levels are different each time. You should be able to complete all 100 levels without ever guessing.

By now you should have the idea. Other things become obvious as you play, such as, there's a timer putting a limit on the number of moves you can make.

When you get to the higher levels, you will run into three special kinds of tiles.

This is a liar. It lies about whether it has a coin or not.

This is a blocker, it won't move, but can still hide a tile. This tile really makes some levels hard!

This is a cheater. When it moves, it moves the nearby coins around. Sometimes this is bad, sometimes good.

Other Stuff:

You can skip ahead 10 levels by pressing the 5 key and clicking on the level up arrow. You can also edit the levels with the z key (x to exit).
You can't save the levels but can have some fun designing your own. If you think your design is much better than the ones I have, feel free to email me a screen snapshot.
